Mrs. Deborah Gautier
Deborah is an experienced higher education professional with more than 15 years' experience at Florida State University. She is highly skilled in the areas of organizational operations, program and project management, enrollment management, educational programing, event management, communications strategy, social media/marketing strategy, academic affairs, policy interpretation/implementation, process development and employee/team management.
As Director of Strategic Initiatives and Innovation for FSU's Office of the Provost, Deborah leads the implementation of cross-functional collaborations with Deans and senior leadership, driving initiatives that harness the collective strengths of colleges, departments, centers, institutes, and business units. She identifies and cultivates high-impact opportunities to position FSU for success in securing large-scale regional, national, and international programs, develops strategic priorities, and guides resource allocation to align with institutional goals.
During project launch and implementation phases, Deborah provides expert oversight across key strategic areas. She is also responsible for supervising project staff as needed to ensure alignment with mission and objectives.
Deborah received her Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from Florida State University and a Master of Business focused on Organizational Behavior from the University of North Alabama.
